Well, I bowled last Thursday and my back and hip pain returned. I shot 186-163-144 for a whopping 493 series. I went to the doctor on Monday and he says that it's muscular or a pinched nerve. Feels more muscular than anything though. I've improved quite a bit over the past week, but I want to give it the next 4 or 5 to see how I am. My first fall league starts on August 20th, so hopefully I will be ready by then. We'll see. Hope everyone kicks some butt for the rest of the summer. I'll be ready for this fall.

Is it your siatic nerve? I have siatica. It is so painful seeing I have it down my left leg the one I plant with.
BrentMy only advice is to stretch really well. Best way to stretch your siatic nerve for each leg is to put your left outside of your ankle on your right thigh (like if you are crosing your legs man style) sitting in a chair (the bowling chairs work well for this) and to lean forward and you will feel the pulling in your lower back to your thigh. Then switch legs.
I don't know if this makes sence but I been dealing with this pain for over 17 years and this is the only thing that helps dull the pain.
I have a few pain pills i take from the doc when it gets really bad but that is mostly in the winter.
I feel your pain my fellow bowling friend and hope you get well soon.
Brent
