I've been in a slump over the past couple of weeks. I think my wrist injury probably had something to do with that. I also made a small adjustment to my game and moved about a half step forward and slowed down my steps a bit and it has seemed to make a huge difference. Shot 685 on the first night after the change.
Monday night was consistent and I finally feel like I have my rhythm and power back after my adjustment and getting over this injury. Shot 210-214-213 for a 637 series. Won all 3 of my points and we went 16-5 as a team for the night. Woohoo!!!!

Last Wednesday, in the Businessmen's League, I finally shot a game over 270 at Capital Bowl. I opened the first frame, then struck the next 10 shots and finished with an 8 count for a 277. Shot 277-203-205 for a 685 series, my high game and high series for this season. The 277 game was 1 pin shy of my all time high and the series was 11 pins shy of my all time high. Excellent night.
Had a much better week bowling this week. I'm now bowling full time on Wednesday nights due to the passing of Wesley Badgett. R.I.P. I felt like since I was subbing for the team, that it was the right thing to do to take over his spot in the league.
Monday night, I shot 201-197-238 for a 636 series. Much better than last week.
Wednesday night, I shot 210-151-212 for a 573 series. The second game, I opened the last 3 frames, all splits. Should've shot at least 180-190.
Thursday night, I finally broke out of my Thursday night slump. I shot 199-258-211 for a 668 series. My high series in this league so far. Brought my average up to 194 in that league, so things are finally looking better on Thursday. I also shot 12 strikes in a row for the first time. Unfortunately it was over 2 games. Finished the 2nd game with the back 9 and started the last game with the first 3.

Had a down week this week. Didn't shoot 600 over any of my 3 leagues. Still averaged in the 190s for the week, so it wasn't terrible.
Monday night, I shot 236-175-162 for a 573 series.
Wednesday night, I subbed and shot 192-259-147 for a 598 series. I have no clue what happened the last game. Kept getting splits and couldn't pick up a spare to save my life.
Thursday night, I shot 209-213-166 for a 588 series. Not bad considering how crappy I've been bowling on Thursday night.

Thisweek is starting out pretty good so far. Monday night, I shot 171-245-200 for a 616 series. I hit right at my average of 205, so all is good. The only bad thing was the 5 opens in the first game, 1st, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th frames. I had 8 opens on the night. If I could've picked up my spares, I would've shot close to 700. I'm getting 600 pretty consistently now, so I'm happy.
Subbed again on Wednesday. Struggled a little bit at first. Had a pocket 7-10 split and missed a 10-pin. Shot 194-235-248 for a 677 series. This week just seems to be getting better. Missed my season high series by 1 pin.
Thursday was bad. I couldn't hit anything to save my life. I shot 154-151-202 for a 507 series. My worst series in months. I had my Savage Flip sanded last Friday so I'm going to try it out next Thursday and see what happens. It's got to get better than 507.
