I almost had my 2nd 700 series last night. I shot 266-202-231 for a 699 series. I needed a strike on the last ball in the 10th and I pulled it. Went right through the head pin and somehow only left the 6 pin. I can't complain though. I'll take 699 any day. I brought my average up to 202. Still on a roll. I'm averaging 226 over my last 18 games. I hope I can keep this up at least through the city tournament in a few weeks. We'll see what happens though.

Finally got a chance to really practice with my new ball, the Ebonite Tornado. I shot 4 games with it, 172, 208, 257, 176. Averaged 203 over the 4 games with it. I had been using it during league practice, but hadn't really had much luck with it. I was happy with how I bowled with it today. I'm going to try to use it during league on Monday and see how it goes.

Had another great week on the lanes this week. Monday, I had a 258-217-195 for a 670 series. Not quite the 712 I shot last Thursday, but hey, it was still a great series. We went 18-3 as a team, so a great night. Wednesday night, I shot 223-202-212 for a 647 series. Brought my season high average up to 202.98. We took all 4 points that night. Thursday night, I shot 224-211-222 for a 657 series. What a week. I averaged 219 for the week.

Woohoo!!!!!!!! I finally did it. I got my first 700 series last night. I shot 215-253-244 for a 712 series. I'm stoked. Hopefully there will be more to come soon. I've come close a few times this season, but last night, I could feel it. Finally got that monkey off my back. I had a great night Wednesday too. I shot 247-222-214 for a 683 series. It would've been an awesome week if I did have that 532 on Monday night. Still had a 214 average overall for the week. I can't complain.

I thought that I was going to have a major crap night tonight. I started out with a 152, then opened the first frame of the 2nd game, then everything changed. I ended up striking the next 8 shots and finished the 2nd game with a 257. Had a clean game the last game with quite a few spares for a 212. 152-257-212 for a 621 series.
