I am starting off a little slow for me with a 658 and a 687. So I am averaging about 224 so far. But we are not winning games because one of the other guys set a huge average and couldn't go any where near it last week so I guess we will see what happens tonight. we are bowling the all lady team and they have a ton of handicap (250 pins) we will have to make up and you never know when they will bowl really well. Yeah I started bowling when I was six (1967) and got serious around the time I turned twelve mainly because I won my first trophy and I wanted more. ;-) |

Hey the weight training has helped me alot. Hell I'm 46 and soon to be 47 so I am trying to get any advantage I can. I will tell you this my last ball feels just like when I threw that first ball. I also don't get that first ball stiffness. |

YEP! I threw four 800's before I ever rolled my first sanctioned 300 game. The funny thing is I usually have 10-15 279 games every year. It's always that one 8, 9 or 10 pin tap that just kills my chance. |

league is 14 weeks i think but one is the sweeper so we play 39 games. the reason i've been doing bad is because the center has put a nasty hang spot out on boards 8-13 or so. u either have to play deep inside of it or u have to get outside of it. my partner made me try something last night by swinging the ball about 10 to 4. did that and had about 10 boards of area to strike and a great ball reaction. so i think i'll try there next week. but ya that 220 average is seeming like nothing right now haha
