Well, I started out the Thursday Summer league a lot better. I opened the first two frames, then only had one more open the rest of the night. I shot 181-203-255 for a 639 series. I also picked up the 4-7-10 split to finish the 2nd game. We know how much of a pain that is to pick up for a righty. We're currently 7-1 after two weeks (I missed the first week) and are tied for 2nd. My goal for the summer is to finish one of my leagues with a 210 average. I'll keep everyone posted.

I'm 2 weeks through the adult/youth league now and it hasn't been too bad. I shot 216-177-198 for a 591 series the first week and 170-238-192 for a 600 series last night. I'm averaging 198.5 through the first 2 weeks. Not too bad. Leaves room for improvement. If I could get off that 170 game, I'd be doing great. I start Thursday Summer Mixed this Thursday.

I finished out the Thursday league pretty decent. I shot 214-168-234 for a 616 series. I wasn't real happy about the 168, but I came back strong in the last game including picking up a 2-4-8-10 split in the 2nd frame. Summer leagues start next week. I'm bowling adult/youth doubles with Saydie (my 7-year old daughter) and Thursday night mixed with my brother and a couple of friends.

I finally bowled a full set with my Ebonite Tornado that I've had for about 4 months now. I was determined that I was going to do something with this ball. Last night was fun night and the final night in the Wednesday league, so I thought I'd try it. I shot 245-258-193 for a 696 series. I had a little bit of trouble carrying in the 3rd game until I struck out in the 10th, but still an excellent night. I finished out the league with a 207 average, up 17 pins from last season. What an excellent year it's been. Here are my highs for this league for the season.
